This perfect mix only requires you to add water and yeast. Can be formed into delicious loaves or rolls which ever better suites your requirements. A light blend of 3 seeds: Sunflower, Linseed and Sesame Seed with a touch of rye. This gives you a softer seeded loaf bursting with flavour

 

Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Rye Flour, Sunflower Seeds, Lin Seed, Sesame Seed, Gluten, Sugar, Salt, Emulsifiers, Enzymes and Ascorbic Acid.

  • Recipe:

    500g Ready Mix Country Seed

    7g Dry Yeast

    280ml Water (Lukewarm)

     

    Serves: +/-1 Loaf bread of 800g each or +/-10 rolls at 75g

  • Method:

    • Place Ready Mix Country Seed Loaf into a mixing bowl. 
    • Use the "HOOK" attachment in your cake mixer or hand knead the bread in a bowl.
    • Add the water to the Ready Mix Country Seed Loaf and add the yeast to the mix.
    • Mix on speed one for 2 minutes and speed two for 8 minutes.
    • Leave it to rest in the bowl for 10 minutes
    • Scale to the required size -> Loaf or rolls and mould into desired shape. Add seeds on top if required and roll with seeds
    • Place bread onto a baking tray with flour dusted on the baking tray to ensure the bread does not stick to the pan.
    • Leave it to rest on the tray for 40 - 60 minutes under a damp cloth. Will notice a expansion/rise in the bread. 
    • Place tray with bread into the oven and bake at 220-230 Degrees Celsius for 30 - 35 minutes for loaves and 20 - 25 Minutes for rolls (until golden).
    • To make it crispy, add steam at the beginning by sprinkling water into the oven via a spray bottle then close oven door. 
  • Optional Extras

    Encrust with additional seeds on the outside to get the best taste.
