Scone Mix - 1Kg
This Scone Mix is the perfect breakfast snack to be eaten savoury with cheese or with cream and jam for that extra delicacy.
Ingredients: Cake Flour, Sugar, Milk Solids, Raising Agents, Emulsifiers, Stabilisers and Flavourants.
Recipe:
500g Bake At Home Scone Mix
50ml Eggs or 1 Large egg
50g Butter - Unsalted
250ml Water
Serves: +/-15 Scones
Method
Place wet ingredients into the mixer. Add the Scone Mix powder to the mixer.
Blend all ingredients with a "FLAT BEATER" on slow speed for 3-4 minutes.
Dust the surface with flour and roll out the dough with a rolling pin. +/-3cm thick dough.
Pierce with a fork all over the dough and cut with the top of a cup for size.
Flour the base of a baking tray and place scone dough onto the tray.
Leave to rest for 10 minutes.
Brush with a egg wash.
Bake at 200 degrees celsius for 15-20 minutes.
